Serre Chevalier Vallée Briançon is a large valley in the Hautes Alpes open to the south, between the Col du Lautaret and Briançon, where several villages, a town and hamlets, from the most modern to the most authentic, are spread out. With 410 hectares of marked out ski area and a total area of 3,901 hectares, the ski area of Serre Chevalier Vallée, in the Hautes-Alpes, is one of the largest in Europe. A cross-country skiing area
It is 40 km of groomed and safe runs along the Guisane. Cross-country skiers are not left out as they have a wide variety of practices and levels in an exceptional setting. From beginners to sporty courses and family practice, not forgetting the magnificent biathlon stadium. Discover the most charming villages and hamlets, in a unique natural setting at the gateway to the Ecrins National Park.
A huge playground
XXL ski area with 81 runs, 61 lifts, 40 km of Nordic ski runs and 28 km of marked snowshoe routes. Skiing in the resort (Serre Chevalier) and skiing at the gates of the city (Briançon). Nature skiing with beautiful mountain runs around mythical peaks. Thrills with snowkiting at the Lautaret site. A resort for the whole family
Serre Chevalier is located in the Hautes Alpes department. The department of Hautes Alpes is the only department in the Alpine chain that has no part of its territory outside the mountains. It is also the highest department in the Alps. The ski area extends over several communes: Briançon, Puy Saint André, Puy Saint Pierre, Chantemerle (St Chaffrey); Villeneuve (La Salle les Alpes); Le Monêtier les Bains.
